I'm the creator, owner, and product-maker for Grandeur Lathers.
DIY has always been a passion of mine. When I discovered soapmaking, I fell completely in love. When my skin experienced that very first shower with my new creation, there was no turning back! Learning how to create my own recipes for cold process soap was a lifechanging experience. It was always important to me to create an elevated bathing experience through making soap. And I've done just that. My soaps don't just get you clean, they are a bathing sensory journey.
My own bath and body path then led me to creating other products, always with the same commitment to making them a bit "extra". My shampoos, conditioners and lotions are all made with out-of-the-ordinary ingredients to treat your skin and hair to an upgraded level of TLC.
Sustainability is a cornerstone of Grandeur Lathers. Not only are all products made with sustainable, plant-based ingredients, but all packaging is selected to reduce plastic waste. My shampoos, conditioners, and solid lotion bars were created to help you ditch plastic bottles altogether!

About My Soaps
All of my soaps are created using the cold-process method of soapmaking. A lot of research went into finding a fantastic blend of oils that would create a bathing experience for your skin to love! Each of my plant-based oils were chosen specifically to create a long-lasting bar that would moisturize and condition your body with every cleanse.
I've created two recipes. A Signature Blend used for most of my soaps.
Oils:
Coconut, Olive, Palm (responsibly and sustainably sourced only), Apricot, Kukui Nut and Castor
Kids/Sensitive Skin recipe varies just a bit.
Oils:
Coconut, Olive, Palm (responsibly and sustainably sourced only), Avocado, and Apricot
These oils are blended with lye water to create soap. I also add sodium lactate to harden the soap along with fragrance and essential oils. I use micas and natural clays and powders for color.
I only source my palm oil from businesses participating in the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil and all of my fragrance oils are phthalate and paraben-free.
Haircare
I make solid shampoos, conditioners, and 2-in-1 bars formulated to care Dry, Normal, and Oily hair types. I always suggest everyone consider their hair type, how often they wash, and the condition of their hair on wash day when they want to purchase a haircare product.
My shampoos provide a clarifying wash that deep cleans without stripping your scalp of nutrients. My conditioners all provide excellent slip, making detangling smooth and easy.
These products are all still cruelty and plastic-free, and make traveling with your favorite essentials a breeze!
Lotions
My lotion and solid lotion bars are made using just a few oils and butters that are rich in vitamin E and leave you with a creamy, moisturizing, non-greasy feel.
The bars are perfect for navigating the cold, dry winter season and my traditional pump lotion is great year round! In continuing with my mission of planet stewardship, my pump lotion is also available in a refill pouch. You won't ever need to through away another bottle!
Both are a must-have to soften calloused hands and heels and are fragrance-free!
